It was a huge overhaul. We were very happy to engage with Top Tier Construction who saw us through the entire remodel process from design and development phase to the demo and construction phase. Amir and his team were very professional in the entire process. He guided us each step of the way and always offers his expertise and ideas which were valuable. Amir was well organized and very attentive in managing the entire project for us from dealing with the subs, to coordinating with vendors and reminding us of timelines and keeping us updated of what will happen each week. We loved that he uses Smartsheet to track the entire project and costs with us. This made it super transparent for homeowners and also reduces the amount of miscommunication. As with every remodel project, we had to deal with the expected situations especially during Covid times but Amir always finds a solution for us and do his best to address any issue that comes our way. He is a great problem solver and even with additional scope added, he was able to help us finish the project in a very timely manner. We also lived in our home during the remodel. While it was difficult, Amir and team made every possible way to help us get through it. He made great remodel protection for our existing home and protected our home items but more importantly his crew worked around having us at the house and were very accommodating to how they are working when we were home. His subs do great quality work and the end product turned out amazing and we were glad we hired Top Tier for our project. The project included removing a wall, and integrating a new ceiling structure support beam in addition to new wood flooring, new walls, electric, tile, plumbing, windows, custom cabinets and appliances. We also added central air condition and recessed LED lights to the entire house. Amir and his team were on-time, on budget and communication through out the project was excellent. Unlike other contractors and construction companies, Amir and his team used "smart sheets" technology to manage the project. Smart sheets is a shared application that allowed all involved parties to sign off on and track all project details. It acted as the central management tool for project calendaring and daily progress reports, and it was updated every day. Accessible on a smart phone it was a major differentiator that allowed excellent communication for every aspect of the project. Amir's price was competitive with several other proposals I received. He and his teams communication was great, we stayed on time to the day, and there were no surprise costs or issues with the project. We were nervous about starting our whole house remodel but after our friends referred Top Tier to us and we saw their high quality workmanship, we decided to reach out to them. When we met Amir and Andy, it was clear they were true professionals, knowledgeable and passionate about their work. We felt confident we would be in good hands. In addition to providing a high level of service, we were impressed with Top Tier's project management and communication tools - it brought us great peace of mind to able to see our project plan online and know what was going on each day. Amir and Andy run a tight ship with their sub-contractors, they were onsite every day overseeing the work and making sure subs showed up when they were supposed to and adhered to their high standards on the job site. With Top Tier's excellent planning and logistics management, we didn't have any delays with products being on back order or not being delivered on time. Despite our large number of change orders and a couple unforeseen hiccups, Top Tier was able to complete our project on time, which is unheard of. I told Amir upfront my concerns and he put me at ease advising that he would provide us top notch service as he worked with us through our home remodel. There were some issues with permits, drawings not to scale, working through a new engineer but he and his team pulled through and we were extremely pleased with the end results. The attention to detail he brought to the job is seen through his workmanship down to the pattern of the nails and nail heads to be in line with our contemporary design. He always left the job site tidy and put his sub's to high standards even though we couldn't even tell. Even after the job completion and after moving in more than a year ago Amir and Andy are still available for us should we ever need it. He does what he says he will do and delivers on what he promises. We hired Amir for a relatively small project in our home and hired his company for other projects as we were extremely happy with his work quality, follow up and work ethic. On top of being an excellent business person, Amir (as well as members of his crew) is just such a pleasure to deal with. Home improvement projects are a headache in itself, but Amir and his team has made the process so much easier and enjoyable.
